Thanksgiving day has passed, the leftovers are almost gone and it’s time to get the decorations out for the next big holidays. Whether you celebrate Hannukah or Christmas, December is a going to be a festive month. At Inspired Home+Life, we are very excited for the upcoming month and all the time with family and friends. For us, that means at the table over a meal or in front of a blazing fire while chatting in the family room, so we’ve concentrated our efforts on these two spaces for decorations. We enjoy everything about the holiday season and are happy to share some great images to celebrate.
At Inspire Home+Life, we love the use of natural ingredients you have in your home to decorate your table. Here we have small wreaths of rosemary with cranberries in the center on a white linen napkin. This look is classic and lovely.
This place setting looks so sophisticated and pretty with the pearls wrapped around the beautiful antiqued silverware with its ornate design. The white napkin and white place setting complement this classic look. The silver and blue ornaments along with the white glittery bells and stars complete the holiday effect.
We love the hand-made look of these cute Christmas designs. You can pick up the individual pieces of these crafty table decorations at your local craft store along with some Christmas colored paint. This would be a fun project to do with the kids and use as name card holders at your Christmas dinner table.
This warm table looks so lovely with the sliced citrus and cloves; it must smell amazing too! The white tall candle with fresh greenery wrapped around the candlestick is perfect for a centerpiece on your dining room table or mantle.
We love this white macrame snowflake ornament. The lights on the trees and the green of the branches are a perfect contrast to this delicate white ornament.
This centerpiece is beautiful and perfect for a Christmas table. The greenery includes red roses alongside a bright red chunky candle and is complemented nicely by the dark red plums and clusters of berries.
We love the tan linen napkins with greenery and berries along with some small red, glass stars. The red grosgrain ribbon with white stitching is the perfect finishing touch.
Another beautiful centerpiece includes pine cones, berries, small red ornaments, along with greenery and a festive red mirrored votive candle holder.
This beautiful centerpiece is great for a wreath to celebrate the season with silver ribbon, tall silver chunky candles and small blue birds nests. The variety of the height on the candles gives the centerpiece some style.
Adding small wrapped packages to your dining room table as place card holders is a great way to dress up your table. We also find this glass bowl filled with berries, greenery and a small wide candle appealing as a centerpiece. The red matte ornaments add to the festive look of the table.
Wow, this fireplace is perfect. Imagine sitting in front of a roaring fire surrounded by family and friends to sing some carols or reminisce about the memories of Christmas past.
This table is lovely — we particularly like Christmas candy cane plates with the jingle bell napkin holder. Here you can see an ornament is used as a place card holder while the centerpiece is a natural table runner of greenery, berries and candles.
The beautiful centerpiece is a do-it-yourself option for making your table festive. Oranges, star anise, cinnamon sticks, nuts and pine cones on a white square platter look great sitting on a bed of natural greenery from your evergreen trees.
This table looks festive and bright with the candles of different heights. The centerpiece includes ornaments of red and gold while the bright red napkin on white china add a pop of color.
We appreciate the look of these globe candle holders with blue votive candles set in glittery sand. You can see the other candles on the table are white votive and there are silver ornaments placed around as well.
These chunky candles are beautiful with their accompanying gold ornaments and ribbon. This simple and classic design can be placed anywhere around the home to add to the festive look of the whole space.
This traditional Christmas tree is amazing — with presents wrapped around its base, the stocking on the mantle and the large frame wrapped like a present above the mantel, the entire room is quite festive.
We wanted to highlight some beautiful ornaments we found in this post.
The gold balls and red hearts look so lovely on this tree.
We love these heart shaped ornaments made with red gingham fabric and red knit.
This cool star is a great looking ornament. Made with natural straw and stitched into a circle.
